210BC, Chinese restaurant

Fleming Road, Chafford Hundred, Grays, Essex RM16 6EW. Tel: 01375 483 333

This was recommended as it was near a cheap Travelodge that we were staying at in West Thurrock.

We went for the set menu, which I usually never do and found it good value. I could do without the crispy shredded beef though which seems like chewing on deep fried cardboard. There was a good range of starters, then lots of duck and a three main courses with special fried rice. It was all pretty good. I wouldn't say it was at the top end of things I have tried.

It has plenty of customer parking although my sat nav didn't recognise the place and made us drive past it. It has a nice modern decor to it and a good wine list. I went for the Margan Shiraz, which once cooled down (from where ever it was stored or heated) had a nice full bodied style to it.

I wouldn't drive out of my way to go back but do think it is worth a try.
