53 Bourne Avenue, Bournemouth. Tel: 01202 551430 Tapas Plus is a decent tapas restaurant near the middle of town sort of halfway between the Town Hall and Bournemouth Square. They do have a wide selection of tapas. I do tend to find that once you order a few bits it ends up costing more than having two courses at an average restaurant, but at least you get a more choice. During the hot summer month/s, they open up the windows at the front of the restaurant which gives a fresher atmosphere. Another tapas place you might want to try is Don Miguel in Charminster.There is now a La Tasca chain restaurant just further up where the Tap and Hobbit pub used to be. Support the family run Tapas Plus and not succumb to the big corporate bully. That's what we say. Isn't that right Mark and Louise? |
