We flew out to Cyprus to surprise a friend of ours who went there for her birthday. She had no idea that we were going to be there.

We thought it would be nice to catch some winter sun as well... but unfortunately Cyprus was experiencing some of the worse weather for a long time. Not that bad really in terms of what we get in the UK, but rain, snow and tournadoes off the coast are not what people the people of Cyprus expected never mind us.
