Unfortunately Uncle Chan has passed away |

So soon after the Shek family reunion it was sad to hear that Uncle Chan, married to the eldest Shek sister, has just passed away.
I will be flying up to the North East this weekend to attend the funeral on Monday.
As a child, not that I was ever involved with the extended family to any great level (I was pretty rubbish at all that), I always remember the both of them together as being the elder statespeople of the group, quietly dignified at all times and well respected.
