Nikon D40 cashback

Just bought a Nikon D40 SLR camera from Amazon UK. They currently, at the time of writing, have it at £276.07 + delivery. That is a pretty good price anyway. I think they must have dropped the price as they have brought out the D40x, but I just wanted to start off with a dSLR without spending too much money.

When I bought it the cashback offer wasn't that clear on the page. It was only when I say a Jessops advert in the paper that I thought I bought it too early and missed out on the cashback offer. I looked at the dates and my luck was in. The offer ends 30th June 2008, with last claims to be received by 31st July.

The offer also appies to D60 and D80 camera kits.

That makes the Nikon D40 I got around £246, which isn't bad at all.
