I only managed to catch the last part of a documentary on BBC2 last night called The Princess Spy, which covered the role of an Indian woman that spied on behalf of Britain during World War 2 and died at the hands of the German Nazis, along with other women spies. She was only one of a handful of women to have received the George Cross. Book on Noor Inayat Khan, a Spy Princess. Quick summary on Noor Inayat Khan. I will be getting the book and taking it to Croatia with me to read on holiday as well as The Time Traveler's Wife, which has been highly recommended by a friend of mine, as well as Richard and Judy's book club.
