Me and Angela were up North for a big family reunion on Monday. It was for my mother's side of the family and al the Shek sisters and brother were there.
We will get some photos put up onto the Shek Gallery site in due course. Having the photos done with each sibling and their children actually made more sense of who is who. |

Sandbanks, Poole Ironic that the past few days had a TV programme by Piers Morgan all about the lovely sunshine and champagne lifestyle of Sandbanks in Poole. There were glorious beach views and sunsets, flash cars and beautiful women, footballers and freaks.
Ha, look at it now, all grey and dull. Typical.
Roll on the summer. |

Kimcell Xmas Party This year's e-mango/X-Net/Datacenta Xmas party was at the Marsham Court Hotel. A bit different to what we normally do good fun all the same. Still not feeling 100% on this Sunday night but that means it was a good one.
You can see photos from the party here: photos from Kimcell Party.
Good to see some blasts from the past there as well. |

Mayor of Bournemouth Check out the photo of me having dinner on the top table with the Mayor of Bournemouth and her consort. Moving up in the world, eh?
This was at a recent event that e-mango attended and sponsored at the Bournemouth BIC. |

Pop goes the champers Thanks to everyone who went to dim sum with Angela and I and those that came to the house to celebrate Angela's birthday. It was a long day for one or two people!
Anyway, Louise has volunteered us to host the New Year's eve party for the Bournemouth crew. I know it is a pain in the arse to come all that way out of town but you could get group taxis back and there should be space in the garden for people to camp out. |

Mrs T Mr T Haven't been here for absolute years. Will be there this Friday for a friend's birthday.
Mrs T is not the wife of 80s TV star and flight-fearing A Team member, Mr T. She is not a sucker or a fool and does go on planes, I assume.
Mrs T's Supper Room is a ye olde worlde eaterie. Check out the decor yourself on their web site. It was very nice IIRC and we even had seconds when they brought the main platters back out again. Maybe all the other diners had problems with their dentures or something.
Will stick a review on efnic.co.uk afterwards. |

Steve Clark, 40 There was a bit of a mini-reunion going on for Steve Clark's 40th birthday at St. John restaurant in London over the weekend. It was great to see the whole family of Tom & Val, with Steve and Andy down and it also ended up as a mini-reunion for some ex pupils from Farringdon School in Sunderland (although it wasn't a sports college then).
Shellie Dormand and Jan Smith where there (6 husbands on between them, only joking) along with Steve, me and Duncan. Also good to see John and Amanda from Steve's uni house in Belsize Park all those years ago! It was a fantastic night and we never stopped laughing.
St. John restaurant was different and very nice. A huge plate of langoustine came as a starter and then we had suckling pig and probably turbot for the main courses. I suspect we were very, very loud. Even louder when Andy came in screaming with joy over the England rugby score!
Photos of Steve's birthday and Farra kids behaving badly. I don't have the photos of Steve and the girls reading Chaucer at 4am in their underpants, but best that I don't or else they will be up on the Net. Champagne at The Hoxton, ouch!
Look at how we compare 20 years on. Shellie hasn't changed much although I did spot something, as you can see in the photo above. |

I have now added a write-up in the travel section on our recent holiday to Bergerac region of France. We actually stayed in a rented house called Acabanes near a village of Thenac.

I am just going to see if I can get any kind of placing for the phrase web design dorset onto the yahoo search pages. Some local web development company seems to have thrown down the gauntlet by saying they have been number on on the results for over 9 months. |
