What a load of b*llox and pain in the a*se those constant phone calls from Talk Talk sales reps trying to get me to move across to their service. Seeing as I am already a Tele2 customer, and Talk Talk have acquired Tele2 in the UK, means I am going to get billed from them very shortly anyway.
If I get any more of these calls I am going to switch, and give them a mouthful of Tourettes at the same time. |

Wow, those nice people at UK Bizrate have given me £40 to place a couple of web links on this web site for three months.
More of that please. |

St Peters Got back from a fantastic week long break in Rome, doing karate, drinking, eating and sightseeing.
A big thank you to Fernando and Meg for their more than generous hospitality, wine and food. Highlights were visiting the historic centre, drinking expensive Guiness and perfect Spaghetti Carbonara (not the UK creamy mulsh).

Setting off on 18 April 2006 for an elegant cruise down
through France, stopping off at two hotels on the way, before ending up
at the glamourous principality of Monaco on 20th April - to coincide
with the Top Marques Monaco luxury and supercar show. We are
delighted to announce that the after dinner speaker at the Top Marques
Monaco Drivers' Luncheon will be Murray Walker, TV personality and F1
commentator.

There is this web site: http://cetl2.geog.ucl.ac.uk/uclnames/Surnames.aspx which lets you search on a surname, and then it gives a UK map showing the spread of population with that name across the UK.
They seemed to have swapped the census dates on the results page though. |

All you need to do is to whack up a giant stir fry and sprinkle on
peanuts and Jim Beam whiskey for the perfect Chinese Mahogany New Year
of the Dog. If you can and have the time, then down several pints of
Guiness and shinnee up some drain pipe at the university student digs
at Northfields. Hey, that's what it's all aboot. |

I am SO not an early riser. A quick search on Google brings up this page: Steve Pavlina, How to become an early riser. Innuendoes aside, this might be of interest. I might give his recommedations a try and see how I get on. |

R-Aston Photos from the gathering at Bar Casa.
My steak was nice but Angela's duck breast turned out to be more like a
rugby ball. Having said that they do put on a good spread for the
money, even throwing in loads of party extras like cameras, balloons,
poppers (of the party type and not the sniffing variety) and hats! |

Whilst listening to Jonathon Ross's Radio 2 show on Saturday,
they talked about a project that installs roundabouts for children to
play on in Africa. The magic part of it is that it also acts as a pump
that is extracting water from wells below. Very ingenious use of low
technology and human effort.
You can see more about the project's work in Africa here: Roundabout, The Playpump.
You can also donate, but there is no need to dig any extra into your
pocket as if you want a bottle of water, you can simply purchase the
ONE brand. All profits go to fund the project. Click for more
information on ONE Water. |

We shrunk the James A night of revellery was had by all. In other words, everyone got wasted, apart from those driving.
Click for Photo's of Gild House Xmas party.
The food at Bistro on the Beach was excellent as usual. The
entertainment was fun, although spoilt by some shoddy break dancing!
Did
not manage to leave the flat the next day as I was trying to gently
recover. Too much champagne, red wine, white wine, beer and Japanese
green tea.
If you missed all the Fong related dancing shenannigans you can see it here: Gordon Fong makes arse of himself, but doesn't really care is it only happens once a year at Xmas and everyone expects it. The world needs a Chinese David Brent. |
