After trying their Chardonnay which I gave a score of 5 and bought a case of 6 bottles to check it out again, I thought I would try their cabernet sauvignon to see how it fares.
I bought £300+ worth of wine one night fro Tesco and got a bottle or two of this at around £9 per bottle.
Very smooth, oaky and strong. Let it breathe and it gets even smoother. Leave it alone for at least an hour. Definitely above your average plonk. For me it comes close but doesn't quite reach the heights of a Penfolds 407.
They are a fantastic wine producer so I will give it a couple of more tries as I would love to give them a 5.
