Authentic Japanese restaurant at Lansdowne, Bournemouth.

(Unfortunately they have now closed down and been replaced by a restaurant called Momo. I had a feeling that they might struggle which is an absolute shame. - Even that came and went!)

Please check out Nippon Inn restaurant instead.

I was the owner of Tokyo sushi and just put the name in google to see what might come up and found your review. Thanks for that, it's nice to see someone more than happy with my creation.

Sush a shame it closed, the freeholder moved the goal posts and doubled! the rent amongst other things. Hard work opening a new restaurant.

I really like the food in here. The range has more Japanese elements that Funki Sushi I feel with katsu curry, ramen noodles and such like on the menu.

The place is not that big with about 5 tables and bench seating. The neon lighting and plasma screen gives it a contemporary design but the food is definitely traditional Japanese.

It can get a bit expensive if you really want to fill yourself up, which I tend to do, but well worth it.
