Went here for lunch and for it not being a Chinese restaurant, run by Chinese (as far as I could see by the front of house staff), I was quite impressed by the dishes they had on the menu.

I went for three bamboo steamers of dim sum. Beef and chive, cod and coriander, plus roast pork buns. It was all pretty much fine although the getting 3 dumplings instead of 4 through me from a point of tradition but also being a bit greedy.

They had a nice range of Chinese tea and I had the Jasmine Pearls which was very good.

I was disappointed by the banana fritters though. I was expecting them to come in a crisp batter coated in toffee but it was all a bit soggy and then spooning the toffee sauce made it worse.

Interesting that they have one just up the road in WInchester as well.
