Zipangu

8 Little Newport Street, London

Whilst in London I skipped my usual visit to Tokyo Diner and tried Zipangu instead which is only a few yards away.

They showed me downstairs, which was a little bit grotty and the same for the toilet.

I had the Tempura Set for £10.50 and Oolong Tea for £1.60.

The miso soup was a larger bowl than what I would normally expect and it came with lots of tofu. There was also a small bowl of pickles and soba noodles.

The main course had three large prawns and 4 vegtable pieces all deep fried in fluffy tempura batter. There was a bowl of rice as well.

Overall it was nice and filling.
