I've been to several of these, in Newcastle, Leicester and Portsmouth. There is a good range of options on there and I do enjoy it every time I have been. Having been to Barcelona and Girona, it is a bit gauling that the prices are relatively expensive for the portions you get but overall I guess they are quite similar to having multiple starters. The place in Newcastle had a large dining area outside which is nice when the sun is out and has some views across the River Tyne. It's nice to be able to order a wide range of stuff and to have a small bottle of dry sherry to go with it. La Tasca website
