This opened up on July 4th by Southbourne Crossroads. A small place with about 10 tables maximum. Very modern art deco interior.

The menu seemed a little pricey for Southbourne so I checked out a few reviews and the ones on Tripadvisor as is usually the case ranged from 1 star blasting the place to 5 stars praising it. I love Southbourne and any new restaurant that opens I would want them to be very good as the place deserves it.

We went there for lunch and the 2 course menu was only about £12 or £13.

It is very light inside, bold art deco type styling. Striking glass tables and high-back chrome chairs on half the tables. Saturday afternoon at the start of October, it was definitely a ladies who lunch kind of place, well apart from me who tagged along with a couple of lunching ladies.

I thought the service was good but there were only three tables so can't say what it is like when it is busy.

The food was good, well seasoned and presented. At some point I will give it a try on an evening.
