Jack's Bistro

54 Wood Street St. Annes FY8 1QG  Tel. 01253 780990

We went on a Monday night so it was very quiet and empty bar us. The food here is very nice. I thought it was Texmex or something. It had that look and feel.

I had the chicken livers and they were finely cooked. So soft yet cooked through. The sauce was nice and rich.

My main course of duck breast was more the other side of medium as opposed to just under medium that I asked for. It was still tender and a nice meal. Everything got polished off by everyone there.

The wine was good. We had a Argentinian Malbec and then a Chilean Merlot (Andes Peak) but it all got a bit too heavy for us by the end.

All a pleasant surprise in the North West.
