After enjoying a few Sancerre and then finding a few disappointing bottles of the same, Sauvignon Blanc came back to my liking in the shape of yet another great wine from d'Arenberg called The Broken Fishplate.

The flinty and herby tones are back with this.

Many supermarket Sauv Blancs are just mediorce non-descript dryish wine whites. The Broken Fishplate bears none of those qualities.

d'Arenberg is a great wine house.
