As much as I wanted this place to work, since the demise of Tokyo Diner and Funki Sushi going down hill, this didn't really do it for me. They had a promotion on their bento boxes but that was only during the week but we went on the weekend and it was not good value for money in my opinion.
Plastic bento boxes are fine when you are taking away, but when sitting inside, it doesn't feel right. The deep fried tempura had been done in overly used oil, miso soup was very thin and bland.
Bournemouth needs good Japanese food and I would like this place to seriously improve.
