Kamenice - Dubrovnik city
This is located on Gunduliceva Poljana, near the Rector's Palace. It was recommended very highly by other people on the internet whilst we were planning our holiday so we decided to visit it.
It has the freshest of seafood and the prices are very reasonable. The place is very busy so get there early or be prepared to wait.
There are other restaurants nearby but the wait is worth while so stick with it.
We had oysters, mussels, squid and black risotto on our visits there. Having seafood this cheap, compared to home, just makes you want to try it all and loads of it. The oysters were not your usual pacific ones but the rounder shelled native variety. It all goes down well with the local beer.
We went back to Croatia for the second time in 2006 and went back to this place. The waitress serving us must have been on a grumpy moment, and we also got someone elses bill. We sent it back but it worked out that ours was more expensive, pa!
We still enjoyed having a beer there under the umbrella's to keep the sun off and tucking into oysters and squid again. Nothing changes, eh?
We went there just before noon and was abled to get a table but it soon got busier.
