I saw this pop up on social media as a reminder and wanted to share on this website as I don't think I blogged it at the time.
On one of the sunniest days in 2021 we walked with Chandy, a disability rights campaigner would had been subjected to daily abuse when out walking. The way he walks has been affected by his disability, from the impact of a brain tumour as a child.
We wanted to support him as if the pandemic wasn't bad enough, to suffer this too was just ridiculous.
