Thomson Fly, going to Prague

Starting in Novemeber 2006, Thomson Fly are starting flights to Prague, Czech Republic. I did a test booking and it worked out to be just over £38 return, per person. Fantastic. No doubt more stag do's will fly from Bournemouth.

A pity it doesn't start in October as I am planning to go then as well.

Birmingham Uni karate, 20 years on

Karate Club

20 years on and a few ex-members of Birmingham University karate club attended a training course back at the old place.Everyone has got older, some have lost weight, some have put some on and others have lost hair, or some combination of all those.

It was good to see Marcela, John and Graham. Maybe the next time won't be so long coming.

How annoying are Talk Talk sales calls

What a load of b*llox and pain in the a*se those constant phone calls from Talk Talk sales reps trying to get me to move across to their service. Seeing as I am already a Tele2 customer, and Talk Talk have acquired Tele2 in the UK, means I am going to get billed from them very shortly anyway.

If I get any more of these calls I am going to switch, and give them a mouthful of Tourettes at the same time.

Visit to Rome

St Peters

Got back from a fantastic week long break in Rome, doing karate, drinking, eating and sightseeing.

A big thank you to Fernando and Meg for their more than generous hospitality, wine and food. Highlights were visiting the historic centre, drinking expensive Guiness and perfect Spaghetti Carbonara (not the UK creamy mulsh).
