The happy couple
It was a fantastic day for Matt and Emma's wedding. The savage heat and humidity from the last month had died down a bit and made it pleasant for the wedding at Langtry Manor Hotel.

It all started of very nicely. Emma and Matt were looking great. The same cannot be said of some of the guests judging by the sight of these two reporbates below. Responsible fathers and all.

Good to see the usual suspects and having all the kids around as well. I needed more time to teach them the naughty stuff to annoy their parents.

Many congratulations from all the crew and may you have many happy years to come.

Second man down
These two represent a sorry state of affairs. Since becoming loving fathers, suffering lack of sleep, not going out very often they just have to go and large it up whenever they get a chance.

These pictures were taken before 11pm as well. What happened to the Ibiza and Magaluff lifestyles? Party hard! Sleep long-time.

Hope the kids didn't wake you up too early, hah!

Now Tony, he's a man who can handle things and he has three kids now. Big up Tony B, he da man.

The full photo journal of the day's events can be found here: Matt & Emma's wedding photos

If anyone has more photos that they would like me to post up then get in touch.

It was all very civilised

Wasted
Well apart from Mr Richard the Philips who narrowly missed having to stay behind for another day due to Stella Artois being consumed in the early morning, and the RyanAir staff not being too pleased about the results!

A fun time was had by all. Lots of Guiness, lager and a dodgy looking lemonade. We didn't really venture far. Well as far as next door, then up the stairs and down the stairs, and back to bed. Gogarty's has it all. We should have just pushed the bloody bunk beds through.

Dublin was hot, damn hot.

Guiness, the black stuff
I missed out on the Guiness factory tour but was there for the Jameson's whiskey tour.

I did have a bowl of Won Ton noodles at Charlies, a Chinese fast food place across the road at the start of Temple Bar, at 3am when some guy came up to me and asked what it was called. I said it was called "stuff" and he should go up to the counter and ask for some stuff. He wasn't too amused. Neither was I as the food wasn't that good.

Ooh, hello boys
Dublin watch out, it's Matt Hammond's stag do this weekend and a bunch of crazy Bournemouth mofoes will be heading your way. Crazy drinking till about 9.30pm and then sloping off for a burger and sleep...! We are getting old, too old for all this actually.

OK, it might not exactly happen like that but it should be good craic/crack/krak.

We're staying at Gogarty's Bar, Dublin. We've been there for drinks before and to check out the live band who seem to be made up of some core musicians and then some random hangers-on that turn up randomly out of the crowd. Guy H has the CD is you want to listen. I wonder if we will actually get out of that building seeing as it has our accomodation, there is a bar and it does food.

Ryanair seem to have gone all funny with the baggage allowance and costs. Then again, we should really too much for the two night we are there. One reverseable pair of underpant and a toothbrush should do!

We all know Rich P goes commando.

sail the dream
Miles and Karen have taken leave of their senses, sold a load of booty off, bought a yatch and intend to sail around the Med for a year.

You can catch up with their shenannigans on the Sail The Dream web site.

Click on their GoogleAds to support their efforts.

I think I have gone off sausages since their farewell BBQ that had 50+, never mind that lovely berry Vodka making a mess of everyone's tongue, Meg's Princess Leia impersonation and bun-dance, Deb's sleepy couch episode and the rain.

Best of luck and hopefully we can meet up at some sunny spot somewhere.
