Phew, its hot

Driving past the airport to home the car readout showed 25 degrees.
Let's hope we haven't peaked too soon.

fong.co.uk was asked to take part in an interview by Rebecca Covey who is in her final year at Bournemouth University. She was writing her dissertation on "the influence of citizen journalists/ bloggers on local press and it's journalisms looking specifically at Bournemouth local press."
Happy to oblige.
After doing our review of the Kolbeh Iranian Restaurant by Lansdowne we have been invited to try another Iranian restaurant. This time it is the Shiraz Restaurant in Charminster.
I'm hungry already!
Not sure if having a couple of friends on the next two streets, with the Malt and Hops pub so near by, is such a great idea...
Good old Southbourne seems to be a good choice. Even the Financial Times said so this weekend gone. What with the artificial reef being made in Boscombe along with new apartments being built plus the fact that larger homes are still available is making this part of Bournemouth a lot more attractive.

I had the "luxury" of lying on the sofa watching TV most of the day. The aching back and tossing & turning reduce the luxury level somewhat.
Anyway, I managed to get through back-to-back episodes of Channel 4's fantastic Shameless series. Seeing as I had loads recorded on my Humax PVR-9200T , I just had to plough on through. One strange thing about the way the Humax does its series recording is that it also recorded the repeat showing the following day.
Although me and Angela giggle and belly laugh all the way through, I never realised the depth that the show, the script and the actors have. Each one gets their own show to monologue over, even the little one. Paul Abbott, David Threlfall and the rest of the cast and production team deserve even more awards.
Click for some Shameless DVD from Amazon. There is a Complete Series 1-5 boxset with 16 DVDs for about £45. That works out to be about £3 per disk.
