Newcastle area: Shiremoor House Farm
This is a really nice pub doing excellent bar meals. The drinks are very run of the mill but there is a wide range of food.
The whole place is a bit of a tardis as it doesn't look that big from the back but volumous when you get it.
Be warned, it get pretty busy on an evening so get it before 6pm if you can.
