Not sure if these pubs are really geared up for the Summer.

It was the first week of the summer holidays. Schools off and traffic everywhere.

So, why only have a skeleton team of bar staff so drinks and food end up taking a painful, and I mean painful, amount of time to get served. Surely it can't have taken by surprise. Don't mention the Red Lion, he was miserable as anything just because they had more customers than normal. Oh what a chore for him...!

Having said that we have a good afternoon in there for a few pints and a bar meal.

The chicken was pretty good value and filling.
