Gurkha 2
Am always a fan of Nepalese curry. A lot more tasty and less heavy on the oil for sure. Maybe not for everyone's tastes if they have been soiled by late night Madras for decades.
This place should be a lot busier and deserves to be. Not surrounded by the best of neighbours but give it a try.
We went there one night and thoroughly enjoyed our food. We had called through earlier that night to book the table and mentioned that we had the Taste Card. We were the only people in although it was a Monday. We contemplated about not using the card but they had already made the discount. We left a bigger tip than normal. Why? Just because we are soppy gits and that my parents have been running restaurants and takeaways here since before I was born so I know what it is like.
See, they even made the effort to make love hearts out of cucumber for us on our date night.
Can you see a greasy oily mess? No you can't can you, just nice flavours.
