Chef Hong Kong restaurant

I have had a couple of e-mails from visitors to my website saying I should try this place out. They all looked a bit over enthusiastic and you also feel if it is someone who works there or doing it for a friend.

Anyway, Sunday afternoon and Angela was late leaving work so we just missed out on the dim sum time at Ocean City. After a bit of thinking I thought what the hell, might as well pop along here.

Had the mixed meat croquette, steamed spare ribs and beef balls. All OK but pretty average. the croquette had soaked a bit too much oil and the beef balls could have been a bit more lighter and fluffier.

Also ordered the roast duck with rice, mixed seafood crispy noodles and the fish with tofu hotpot. The duck was really tasty and not dry. Fatty in some places but even that is nice when it tastes good. Good to see the crispy noodles being crispy and not overladen with sauce.

A friend of ours likes the congee there, so next time we might give that a try.
