Fishworks

This is a small seafood restaurant in Christchurch.

The entrance consists for a few stools and shelving but I can't imagine having a nice cappucino with the large iced seafood counter behind you.

Upstairs is the main dining area. Not a large amount of tables which keeps things very personal and the service quite quick.

I've had a nice pan seared tuna steak in lime and chilli which was cooked just right, with the right amount of rareness in the middle. Angela had a large and tender squid which reminded me of one we had near Marbella.

You can also buy fresh produce to take away.

I have been here a few times. It is slightly pricy but very enjoyable.
