The Red Fort

77 Dean Street, London W1D 3SH

This place serves delicious and delicate Indian cuisine. Aside form the cheap set lunch, which we didn't catch sight of, this is a place for the business to pay.

The monkfish tikka was so succulent and tasty. I had the duck for my main with a side of baby aubergine.

Even the free popadom and dips they brought out initially was very nice. No sloppy bowls here. The freshest light and minty yoghurt, bright spicy salsa and an enticing translucent onion type thing.

The web site says differently but the £4.95 we paid for a bowl of steamed rice was a bit of an eye opener. Heck, it is London after all. In Birmingham that is the price of a curry itself.
