Blink and you will miss this place. I only caught sight of the small Japanese hanging curtain out the corner of my eye. It wasn't until I got up to the doorway that I could see a menu and a set of stairs leading down to the restaurant.

The place is quite cosy, with around 10 small tables and a seats around the sushi bar. Not the plushest of decor so it may not make the most romantic of places to take a partner but the food is spot on.

The sushi was excellent. I went for a Jo Nigiri mixed sushi platter that included a bowl of miso soup, and some oolong tea.

The ingredients were fresh. I had sea urchin and raw prawns for the first time.

Although I was looking for somewhere cheap for a splash and dash before a business meeting, this was a welcome treat. Although not really cheap, it came out to over £13, the food is so much better than the cheaper sushi buffet places.
