The first time I went in was part of a stag do pub crawl. We went from the Worlds End to this place. We had already eaten at the Worlds End but the menu in this place looked really good. Someone had the ham, egg and chips which smelt lovely, unless that was the beers kicking in.
The 32 ounce rib of beef on the bone, served medium rare it states, for £36 made the menu stand out.
I took Angela here one lunchtime, after going to the Worlds End first. It was only for a quick lunch but it was nice enough, although Angela seemed to lose out on the portion size front with her scallop skewers.
