Ristorante Baldo
Somewhere, High Street, Valencia.
We came here as part of our mammoth drive from the UK through to Villamartin in Spain. Three guys in a Luton van, battling the freezing ice of January 2010, then the snowy conditions of France and then the wind of Northern Spain. All a bit hairy.
We worked up one hell of an appetite by the tiem we decided what to eat. We must have walked around the streets of Valencia thinking there must be more to this or else we were in the wrong place.
We sat down to eat and the waitress basically stopped us partway through ordering as if to say, that is enough, for most people. When we wolfed it all down and ordered the next batch, she had given up and basically recommended the most expensive item on the menu, and we plouhghed on with the food, and dessert!

Other things that we had were the razor clams, rare beefsteak with potatoes, serrano ham and frieds egg, roasted cod, and various desserts.
