Excellent value and large portions. Long queues outside.  Worth waiting for.

That's all there is to say about this place.
More of a cafe/diner than a posh restaurant as the internal decor and table arrangement is more functional than anything else.

I took Angela to this place in March 05 and she was impressed with her huge bowl of chicken udon noodles. I had tempura and rice, along with a plate of sashimi which were really good.

Be aware that they try churn everybody in and out as fast as possible which works to your advantage really, especially if you are queueing up and drooling at the food. So, don't be put off when they take your finished plate away that the bill immediately appears from nowhere and plonks down onto your table.

Seeing as there are not any desserts, there is no reason to stick around anyway.
