You may laugh and I did when I ordered one whilst on holiday in Madeira. We were in a local seafood restaurant, with only locals in and it seemed fitting to have a drop of the local (well Portugese) wine. Don't know if it was because we were on holiday but it went down a treat.

Would be excellent for a bar-b-que in the UK on a hot summers day. Chill it down to about freezing first. It may be the zingy freshness of it, similar to the vinho verde, that makes it interesting.

It still reminds me of the 1970's and 80's though. Sometimes nostalgia is a good thing.
