Another classic French Sancerre.
Currently enjoying Sancerre way over any New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc, barring Cloudy Bay and the one from Aldi which I still think is great value..

Tasting Notes
Beautiful yellow robe with golden highlights. Marked by vegetal notes, the nose then opens up to aromas of candied fruits. In the mouth, the attack is tender yet lively.
The gentleness of the our Montigny vineyards and our respect for cultivation on limestone-clay soils confers an undeniable grace to this Sauvignon Blanc whose aging in oak tuns imparts the ultimate osmosis with the wine. Here is a fine, elegant white wine that evolves well.
Food Match
Ideal for a comfortable "wine moment"... with a platter of seafood; as an accompaniment to shellfish or fish filets fried or roasted. "Natural" cuisine where freshness is paramount marries wonderfully well to the minerality of this Sancerre white (think of wok-prepared dishes!). Excellent with Asian cuisine such as sushi, Creole and Indian dishes... An unusual match: on a chitterling sausage in the oven and with a selection of fine cheeses...
