I write this just after a small glass. Straight out the bottle this tastes superb. I had heard the St. Hallett brand out at restaurants but hadn't really bought it for home. I managed to get a great mixed case from Tesco's Wine Club.

This thing is from the Barossa valley and is made up of Shiraz, Grenache and Touriga and comes together as a nice package. This is good.

Looking forward to trying the other 5 bottles. Just tried my second bottle after a month or so. The opinion still holds. On first sip there is something extra, a touch of spice and a longer finish. There is something interesting and not just big smooth Ribena taste.

St. Hallett do nice red wines. I will try one of their more expensive reds in due course.
