Seeing as tonight's wine was going to be the 100th red wine to be added onto this site I thought I would grab something a bit better from the little cupboard. It was a toss up between a Lalande de Pomerol or this one but seeing as Ange was away I went for the Wolf Blass leaving the French one for tomorrow with our meal.

This was a Clare Valley 2000 Cabernet Sauvignon. Not sure of the Platinum status but it sounded like a good choice from the mixed case I got from Tesco.

I should have let it stand for a while as there was loads of sediment. Even when I was decanting it (oo get him) most of the sediment went in as I wasn't watching enough, or cared less.

It looked a good colour and smelt delicious. It didn't rank amongst the "5"s on this site but was OK.
