La Tasca - goodbye
I have just come to my very last visit to a La Tasca establishment. If you are going to do Spanish tapa as a bar and restaurant, then do it properly for God's sake.

These now include the lobster tomfoolery, if you missed out on all that. We had our own little party in the kitchen.
Those pesky people at work had me believing they were all heading off home and so on.
Thanks everyone. It was a really good night - Champagne, vodka, absinthe and whisky (although most of the 12 year old Glenlivet ended up on the floor) made for a lively birthday party.
Not so sure about the 10 minute defrosted (if that) lobster and dim sum at 11pm.
Photos from the night's shenannigans are here: Gordon's 40th party photos
Anyway, just to say a big thanks to the pressies, balloons around my desk at work and for keeping out my way while I sulk on my 40 years young.
A bit of Canard-Duchene Champagne and a drop of Chateau Musar 2000 is called for tonight.
