Well done to Max on completing the London Marathon yesterday. No simple feat.
Right you lot, get your sponsorship money in. Send him some plasters as well.
Max says
"I managed to complete the marathon although my time was slow, 5:21, as my old leg injuries all kicked in with gusto about half way through. But I did it yey. My race number was 15181 and my results can be seen here, http://live.london-marathon.co.uk/2007/index.php?content=detail&id=00000307554534000005E17A
I know some people had problems getting on the old page so I've created this new one which will last for 3 days.
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Marie Curie Cancer Care will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
Message from Colin. --- On Sunday May 6th 2007, I have foolishly agreed to throw myself off the Tyne Bridge all in the name of charity, I will be zip wiring (James Bond Style) over the Tyne from the bridge over to HMS Calliope in Gateshead Quay for the Anthony Nolan Trust.
The aim of our fundraising is to raise as much money as possible to help people in need of a bone marrow transplant. A transplant of bone marrow (or stem cells from the peripheral blood circulating the donor's body) can be used to offer hope to patients with leukaemia or other similar potentially fatal illnesses. The Anthony Nolan Trust offers patients both in the UK and all over the world a better chance of a successful transplant. Therefore i could appreciate you support in this matter in the form of sponsorship, this can be done online
You would think that Bournemouth and Dorset has its fair share of 2 and 3 bedroom flats in the area, but judging by the number going up there must be some mass influx of people into the area or at least people looking to move out of rented accomodation and buying their own home.
The rumour is that the pub at the end of our street, the Southbourne Cliffs, will be turned into flats once the owner retires. Although it has had a noisy past at times, it was always handy for the odd tipple now and again.
The garage down by Tuckton bridge is always rumoured to be turned into umpteen flats and a Tesco Express type thing.
My question is, how much poo can the sewerage system take?
