Lee Ho Fook restaurant
I have been to this place a couple of times on a weekend for Dim Sum and stuff and it has been generally been fine.
The last time I went was around 3.30pm but things weren't so great. It was empty and the staff were probably having their lunch.
We ordered some crispy fried noodles with seafood, beef ho fun, stir fried choi sum in garlic and a mixed meat platter.
The crispy noodles looked very bland nor had it been crisped up. A bit too much gloopy sauce on it.
The beef ho fun should be very dry but that swam in a bit of sauce as well.
The platter of mixed meats was not very inviting. The chicken, duck, belly pork and so on were sitting in a pool of soya sauce and meant that they lost their crispyness, if they were ever crispy.
I was very disappointed. Next time I will try somewhere else and more likely one of the places with the ducks and stuff hanging up in the windows than the large glossy restaurants.
