I had the braised octopus on a bed of savoy cabbage to start. Very soft and well contrasted by the cabbage.

For my main course I had the wild mushroom ravioli served with snails ina tomato sauce.

The ravioli theme continued into the dessert where I had chocolate ravioli stuffed with cashew nuts, toher bits and topped with candied fruit in a sugar syrup.

The cheesecake looked by far a better option though. Much more of an undertaking than my three small chocolate ravioli.

We had coffees and petit fours to finish. All very nice and a nice touch was the constant topping up of water without asking and complimentary.
