This place is a tale of two halves, a bar and restaurant, and also of good and bad.
Although the interior is all nice and plush I thought the food and presentation was all a bit cheap not that the food was cheap. Dull metallic cutlery is a turn off unless it is a pub or cafe. I did my usual test of a new place I haven't visited before and went for the spaghetti carbonara. Oh dear. Not all restaurants cook pasta al-dente but surely they shouldn't be cooking it so soft like it was made for children.
What was its saving grace was the live act that they had singing. The singer was excellent. All the 40+, 50+ and 60+ year old crowd seemed to think so. Good atmosphere in the bar, but the restaurant was a bit of a let down for me. But that's just my opinion.
