This pub may not look like anything more than an average local pub, and inside it just looks exactly like that but what they do have is a small kitchen to the right hand side of the pub that does Thai food.

I saw the sign on the pavement advertising a recession busting lunch from under £5.

I had the chicken noodles at £4.99 and it was very good. A refreshing kick of chilli, tender chicken, vegetables and enough noodles for a lunchtime. I was pleasantly surprised. Always good to find these little places dotted around London when you need a bit to eat that is good value.
