You must watch a programme called Tribe on BBC2, Mondays from 9pm to 10pm.

Fantastic viewing,

Some mentalist called Bruce Parry travels the world living with indigenous tribes to get a taste of their lifestyle and culture. This week he was in Ethiopia with the Suri tribe, drinking blood, getting a tattoo and preparing for a stick fight. He just wasn't ready for the stick fight as he would have got badly mashed if he went into it and thankfully the village chief no.

I kept thinking to myself how an Okinawan expert with the staff (called Bo in Japanese) would have faired. They also had AK47's that you can't do much about unless you have one yourself. You could easily see why people could lose eyes, fingers, get broken legs and even die.

I'm sure drinking fresh cow blood may be nutritional but on draught may be a bit too much for me. In black pudding is fine!

I'm sure the rest of the episodes will be just as compulsive viewing as well.
