Sleet Showers for Cambridge
No, please no rain
I hope the BBC are wrong in their forecast and there wont be any sleet or showers for Mark and Louise's wedding in Cambridge.

Nor do I want it to be -3 degrees on the night either!

Sort it out.

Boys Toys for cleaning

Dyson DC16
Dyson DC16
Is it just me or when it comes to blokes sorting out vacuum cleaners and so on for home, we go for the full on Dyson products as they are basically macho boys toys, well at least compared to the rest.

Just got a Dyson hand held vacuum, the DC16, reconditioned B Grade via Dyson's own eBay web site. It was about £64 compared to £100 RRP or £88 from Amazon.

Feels like holding a flipping machine gun or some crazy sci-fi power tool.

It is so powerful that a full charge takes 3 hours and only lasts 6 minutes of use. This is something that guy from Home Improvement would use and soup up.

Got a bit more pizza money for the sponsored links on the right hand side. Also put two on efnic.co.uk as part of the deal for one year.

This web site is just one big tart. Any offer considered.

Hotel Fong will be closed this weekend as we are off to Cambridge for the wedding of Mark Reilly and Louise Lenton. First one of the year.

Hopefully the sun will shine down on Trinity College for the day.

I will be there to capture the merriment as usual and I think there will be some newly parented people that are going to follow in the footsteps of the Bushnells and Philips and will mostly be getting trollied. That's the only way to go.

£15 to watch a movie!

Created: 21 March 2009

I met up with Max and Stu to watch The Watchmen at the Odeon in town.

Parking in Bournemouth for enough time before and after the movie cost £6, plus I spent a £1 parking behind the cinema only to realise that the movie was for over two hours so I had to move it again.

The whole paying £1 for a premier seat in the middle was a bit duff as well. Remind me not to do it again. When we sat down, because the headrests are quite high for those seats the ones in front actually got in the way. Even worse if you are not that tall!

It was virtually empty anyway. The rows just before the premier section are probably the best ones anyway. No risk of some curly barnet in front of you.

No wonder people rather just buy the DVD when it comes out.

It was a pretty good movie.
