If you like rum and live in Southbourne, then you will love the Southbourne Rum Club that is run by Peter and Pauline Holland, aka the Floating Rum Shack.
Aside from the Rum Club, Peter occasionally opens a Tiki Bar up above the Larder House on Southbourne Grove. It's open to all and he publicises it on Social Media when the time comes but you can take a look at the video below to get a jist of what happens in this small cosy affair.
The video has been created as part of the #SoBoMile project for Bournemouth foodies that I am doing in my spare time.
There are other clips on the SoBo Mile YouTube Channel.
Ooo, my little video of Terroir Tapas is now live on the SoBo Mile YouTube channel.
This is a completely modern take on small plate eating so take a look at the video before assuming this is Oi Oi Benidorm type snacking.
I've now posted a short video on the Wight Bear Micro Pub on Southbourne Grove as a continuation of the #sobomile project.
Yeah, it takes time all of this stuff...
The thumbnail that YouTube came up with is classic and making me hungry already.

Well that was fun. I did an interview with Rupert from Conker Spirit as part of my Sobo Mile project to promote Southbourne as a foodie destination.
Rupert's work definitely puts him down as a local food and drink hero, who is ever present and supports many different local events.
You can see the video below that I uploaded to YouTube.
Give it a like and share it on if you find it interesting. Maybe next time he can tell us about this new product that he couldn't quite give the details about in the interview.
